Laxogenin – the muscle builder

Laxogenin, formally known as 5a-Hydroxy Laxogenin, is a hormone synthetically isolated from the Smilax Siebodii plant, and the best known member of a group of compounds collectively referred to as brassinosteroids, (A group of plant based steroids exclusively synthesized from plants).

The substance was officially brought to the public in 1992, and studies have shown that at the right dosages (100mg and upwards) Laxogenin improves nitrogen retention and protein synthesis to levels similar to anabolic steroids, without the nasty side effects. It aids in decreasing cortisol and leads to enhanced muscle recovery and growth, with the added benefit of improved fat loss with minimal muscle wastage. Other anabolic effects include increased strength and muscle endurance.

Unlike prohormones and anabolic steroids, Laxogenin does not interfere with your body's endocrine system and doesn’t require cycle support. (However, It is recommended to stop taking the supplement for a period of 4 weeks before beginning another cycle).

Laxogenin can be stacked with testosterone boosters, estrogen blockers and other supplements to increase the muscle maintenance, building and recovery effect.
